Getting things off my chest to start a new chapter

On November 6, we blessed Kastyn and it was a great day. Wesley did amazing and all of my planning and decorating for the luncheon came together really well. It was a great day to honor him and spend time with our family and close friends. However now looking back through all of the pictures of that day, all I can think about is how fat I looked that day!

( Now, before I go any further I just want to say that I am not trying to be a complainer, and I am not trying to get any special attention by having people tell me how good I look just because I think I look fat.)

I suppose every girl/woman has the same problem, no matter how skinny we are, we always think we are fat and look at our imperfections. But I have to say that being someone who has never worn a bigger pant size then 10(Which was after my miscarriage and right when I got pregnant with Kastyn) it is really hard to walk into my favorite clothes stores and see all the pants I want to wear, but I am to afraid to try them on to have the disappointment in the biggest size they offer still being to small. I am so in love with Kastyn and even though I gained over 50 lbs during my pregnancy, he was so worth it. But the problem is, no matter how much I love him, it doesn't help me love myself. And that's what I need to do.

I wish that I was not going to be this serious about loosing weight right during the holiday season. But I guess that it will be good for me to realize that if I can do it during this time of the year, with all of the food and goodies tempting me, then I can do it anytime! When I commit, I have never had a hard time loosing weight, so that will be what I need to do, I just need to COMMIT!!

When I went to the doctor for my 2 week check up they gave me a frame with this poem on top of Kastyn's footprints, and his name and birthday on it. I hate thinking about my precious little baby growing up. I even catch myself talking about him fitting into bigger clothes and taking it back because I cant bare the thought of him growing up and not needing me anymore. I want him to stay my cuddly little baby for the rest of our lives. I will even take the late nights to get things to stay the way they are. However I know that is impossible, so I am going to soak in every second I have with this sweet little spirit that had been sent into my life.

Kastyn Wesley Hernmasen

First of all to help out those of you who keep asking, His name is said like Kaysten, we just spell it funny ;).

Kastyn was born on September 2, 2011 at 2:33p.m. He weighed 6 lbs. 6 oz. and was 20 in. long. We are so in love with out little boy. 13 hours of labor ending in a c-section was totally worth it!! When the doctor told us how big he was we were so surprised!! We were expecting him to be at least 8 lbs. Unfortunatly for him his mommys uterus is stupid so he didnt get to grow as much as he would have. But we are so happy he is finally here!!! He is such a good little baby.

WE'RE READY

The nursery is done and we are ready for our baby to get here!!

There was cable in the bedroom we put him in so I talked Wesley into hooking up a TV in there for me to watch when I'm up with him in the middle of the night. He is going to be so spoiled, this dresser is completely full of clothes. I know its a boy but I'm am so excited to put all of his cute clothes on him.

My big and mini rocking chairs with the giraffe I asked Wesley's grandma to get me at the zoo. O ya we finally decided on a name. The K on the wall is for Kastyn(said like Kaysten) My really good friend Kara made me that cute board for me for my shower.

We got so many cute blankets and toys for my shower. And the diaper bag on the floor is all packed and ready to go for the day he comes. I'm 33 weeks along this week and we cant wait for out little baby boy to get her. The only thing the nursery is missing now is him!!

Fun Nursery Decor

I got board today and decided I wanted to make something new for my nursery. And since Wesley hasnt picked a name yet I have to get more creative then making stuff with his name. The material on this matches a quilt that we have for his crib. I was hoping it would take me longer to make cuz I was super board. But it was really easy and entertaining to do.

The older days

I was going through our moving boxes and found these two pictures of me and my little sister. I love these pics and totally forgot about them so I wanted to put them up. Its crazy to grow up with each other and now we are both at totally different parts of our lives going all sorts of different directions but I hope she knows that she's still always going to be my little sis and I love her.

23 Weeks 4 Days

Tucker Wesley

There is really no question that its a boy!!

Here is his profile at 14 weeks. I'm 22 weeks now, so he's lots bigger now.

Tucker Wesley...? I'm hoping. I told Wesley that he could choose his name but I'm pretty sure we finally agreed on that one.

The rocking chair was my early mothers day present. I made the blanket that is on the back of it all by myself. I has Giraffes all over it and brown minke on the back so it is really soft.

My crib. Wesley's mom bound the blanket on the back and made the sheet for the mattress. This was a few weeks ago and I've now covered the bumper pads on the changing table with the same material as the sheet so it would all match.

Our new addition

We are so excited to be geeting ready to bring a new little person into this world. We found out about 3 weeks ago that it is going to be a little boy, and we couldnt be more excited.He will be here by The first week of September or sooner. Wesley is convinced that we are naming him Torq, but he has another thing comin. I told him he could pick the name...but I still have to agree on it :-)

January 21, 2010

On January 21, 2010 Wesley and I were sealed in the Manti Temple. We were surrounded by many family members and good friends. It was a huge blessing that we did it on this day because less then a month later Wesley's grandma passed away and we are very greatful that we were able to have her here for this.

Our 1 year anniversary

For our 1st anniversary we spent the night at the Anniversary Inn in Salt Lake City. As you can tell we stayed in the jungle room. My favorite things were the complimentary cheese cake in the fridge, and the continental breakfast. They were both delicious.(Of course the food is my favorite part :-))

It was a fun day, but it also rained all day, and we were frozen by the time we sat down to start watching the races.

For Wesley's 20th birthday I got him tickets to the Supercross races in Salt Lake. We hung out in the pits, watched the races, spent the night, and spent the next day shopping. It was a really fun weekend.

One of our favorite things to do during the summer is hang out with Seth. We love taking him fishing and swimming.

And he loves it to. We cant keep him out of the water!!

 Last summer Wesley and Seth decided they wanted to go swimming. But it was Sunday and the pool was closed. So they did the redneck thing, and filled up the horse troph. It was cold at first, but they forgot about that after they started having fun!!

Cole splashed water on me, so Seth decided he needed to get him back. The water had spilled out of the boat by the time he got to Cole, but its the thought that counts right.

The summer after we got married we went to Lake Powell with my family. Its pretty much one of our favorite places in the world. This is Seth(My llittle bro) Getting ready to find out first camping spot of the trip.

We had some unlucky storms while we were there. You cant really tell but the water was white capping like crazy.

We were married on November 21, 2008. It was a good day of family, friends, and fun. There are many days that I wish I could go back to that day because it was so good. I absolutly loved my dress!! We never would have been able to do it without the help of our parents and the rest of our families.
